Thousands separator

To improve readability for large numbers (such as millions and billions), it is possible to separate thousands by holding down the corresponding button.

Decimal numbers

This calculator will not go beyond 5 digits after the decimal point. If the calculation produces a result with more than five decimal places, it will round it (for example, 0.20687655 becomes 0.20688).

Saving operations

The online application remembers the result of the last operation when the user uses the +, -, * or / signs, and displays it visually in small characters on the results screen at the bottom left.

Results history

Each operation is saved. To differentiate them, the execution time is also recorded. Along with the result, all this information appears in the “results history” section. You can export the contents of this history in CSV format or generate a PDF document by clicking the corresponding button. Each cell of the results history table is editable.

What is the CSV format?

CSV stands for comma-separated values. It is a simple text file that can be imported into a spreadsheet. Each line represents a row in the spreadsheet. They are separated by delimiters corresponding to the spreadsheet’s columns.

What is the PDF format?

The PDF format, or Portable Document Format, is a file type that preserves a document’s layout. It can be viewed using a PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader or another similar program.

The usefulness of this calculator

In accounting, a calculator can be very practical. Although it is important to be able to calculate mentally, some operations are very tedious and far too complex, which makes a calculator useful.

It can also be useful for calculating the total amount of your shopping list, for creating a budget…

Finally, it can be helpful for students in mathematics, physics, chemistry…
